ok another long hiatus from posting. been lazy and busy and snacky as hell. topped out at 185lbs. last week sometime. post-halloween chocotasm is over and i think i can keep it under control over the holidays. need to find some time to exercise eventually, but will probably just have to eat less. the other day i was forced to skip lunch and it didn't kill me, so maybe i'll do that to cut back on unneeded calories while i am idle due to family commitments. alright, more regular updates to come - i promise ;)

was doing ok today until i had 2 hot dogs for no reason at about 8pm. gotta stop eating when i'm not really hungry. brushing my teeth long before i go to sleep is a good trick. it worked tonight.

Wow been a loong time since I posted. Was down to 175ish for a while, then junk food and laziness brought that back up to 180-185 in the last few weeks. Am going to be posting more frequently now so should get back down soon. It's almost time to start running again too. Yippee.

ok so a post every 5 weeks. really consistent.
still hovering at 180lbs. still not running because of sore achilles. not time for biking, plus the weather is crappy. and then all of a sudden a big cake with icing appeared. looks like that diet will be postponed again...

wow haven't posted an update for a while.
the holidays brought lots of snacking and sweets. i survived pretty well, weight-wise, until just after xmas. the weather was prety bad, and i got no exercise at all for a couple of weeks.
and i ate most of the super-yummy chocolate cake that my wonderful wife made for my birthday.

so i'm clocking in at about 180 lbs. all in all a successful year, considering i was just shy of 200 lbs a year ago. looking forward to a year of maintenance and maybe trying to exchange some fat for muscle. but i'm not holding my breath.
